PaperHands: Paper Trading Extension for Solana Meme Coins

PaperHands is a Chrome extension that lets traders practice meme coin trading with virtual funds, right on the platforms they already use. Every user starts with 100 virtual SOL and can buy and sell tokens on Axiom, GMGN, pump.fun and similar trading terminals, tracking their positions and profit and loss as if the trades were real. I designed and built the full product as a solo founder, from the extension itself to the payment and account backend.

Meme coin trading moves fast and punishes mistakes instantly. Most new traders learn by losing real money, and experienced traders have no safe way to test a new strategy or a new platform before committing capital. Existing practice tools often live on separate sites, away from the real charts and order flow traders actually use.

PaperHands sits on top of the live trading interface, so users get real market conditions, real tokens and real price action, with simulated balances. Traders can build habits and prove a strategy first, then trade for real once the numbers show it works.

1. The extension and trading simulator. An extension interface that runs inside each supported trading platform, plus a simulated trading engine that handles virtual balances, buys, sells and running profit and loss.

2. Payments and lifetime access. A payment verification flow for the one-time 0.1 SOL purchase, connected to Discord OAuth so each payment is tied to a single account and unlocks access everywhere the user signs in.

3. The backend. A Supabase backend that stores users, payment status and trading data, keeping everything in sync across browsers and devices.

PaperHands has been submitted to the Chrome Web Store. Next on the roadmap is support for Robinhood Chain meme coins, including Pons, LONG and Pools.trade, with a separate paper ETH balance.
